Buttered Spiked Cider

This is amazing and delicious and I like to serve it at Christmas season get togethers....

3 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Pinch of ground ginger
1 quart unpasteurized apple cider
4 ounces apple brandy, such as Laird's Applejack

1. In a small bowl, mash the butter with the cinnamon and ginger.
2. Heat the apple cider in a medium saucepan over medium heat until hot but not boiling, about 4 minutes. Pour the hot cider into 4 mugs. Add 1 ounce of apple brandy to each mug and top with a dollop of the spiced butter.

An alternative to cooking this on the stove is to put the cider in your crockpot on low until it heats up, I made it this way and it made the whole house smell amazing! I added extra cinnamon to the cider while it was heating. Enjoy! :)

Boat Trip Alcoholic Drink

‎1 (1.5 fluid ounce) jigger good quality silver tequila
1/2 (1.5 fluid ounce) jigger melon liqueur (such as Midori®)
1/4 (1.5 fluid ounce) jigger triple sec
1/2 (1.5 fluid ounce) jigger sour mix
1 splash grenadine syrup
1 splash lime juice
1 (1.5 fluid ounce) jigger orange juice, or to taste
1 maraschino cherry for garnish
1 wedge orange for garnish

Directions
1.Fill a margarita glass with crushed ice. Pour tequila, melon liqueur, and triple sec into the glass. Top with sour mix, grenadine, lime juice, and orange juice. Garnish with the cherry and a wedge of orange.

1 fluid ounce milk
1/2 fluid ounce strawberry flavored syrup

1.In a blender, combine rum cream liqueur, coffee liqueur, milk and strawberry syrup. Add the banana and crushed ice. Blend until smooth. Pour into glasses and serve

Cold Weather Snuggler

6 oz of Milk (not skim-eww)
3.5 TBS Godiva Hot Chocolate mix
2 oz of Flavored Schnapps (I like Butterscotch, but I hear Cinnamon and Peppermint are tasty too)
Can of Redi-Whip

Heat the milk and the mix together until scalding hot (small simmer bubbles not big ones) and then pour the schnapps in and simmer for about 30 seconds. Pour in a large mug and top off with whipped cream

Kahlua

Festive Pilgrim

1/2 tsp. nutmeg,
1/4 cup honey,

1 1/2 cups half & half

Whisk together pumpkin with spices and honey. Now add liquids; whisk well. Pour over ice. Serves 4.

Key Lime Flip Wilson

1/2 cup crushed graham cracker crumbs, 1 1/2 cups vodka, dash of vanilla, 1 1/2 cups light rum, 1/2 cup lime juice, 3/4 cup Coco Lopez cream of coconut

Moisten the rim of chilled martini or parfait glasses with a sliced lime, then press the glasses into a saucer of graham crumbs to coat edge. Combine the liquid ingredients in a pitcher with ice to blend and chill. Strain into the rimmed glasses.

Eggnog

 1 quart milk
1 pint heavy cream
12 egg yolks
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 pint whiskey
12 egg whites
1 cup white sugar
1 pinch ground nutmeg

Directions
1.In a large bowl, blend the milk, cream, egg yolks, vanilla and whiskey using a hand mixer until smooth and creamy. In a separate bowl, whip egg whites until soft peaks form. Gradually sprinkle in the sugar while continuing to whip until stiff. Fold the egg whites into the egg yolk mixture, and pour into a punch bowl or large pitcher. Serve in mugs or cups garnished with a sprinkle of nutmeg.

Aquavite Norwegian Liquour

2 tsps. each: caraway, fennel, dill seeds, coriander seeds, 1 star anise seed, 1" of a cinnamon stick poured into bottle of Vodka leave on window sill for months to cure and mellow.

Suggestion for preparation: When ready to pour drink place a piece of cheesecloth over the opening/mouth of bottle this will prevent spices from being poured into your drink.

Matcha Black Russian

1 oz Kahlua
1/2 oz Vodka
5 oz Chocolate ice-cream

Combine liquors with Matcha in an electric blender and blend at a low speed for a short length of time. Add chocolate ice cream and blend again shortly. Pour into a chilled champagne flute and serve.

Matcha Ice Toasted Almond

1 Scoop Vanilla Ice Cream

Shake all liquors with Matcha until mixed well. Blend all ingredients with crushed ice and shake. Add to Vanilla ice cream and shake well until smooth.

Strawberry Mint Mojito

This refreshing and sweet cocktail is perfect for a summer day, bridal shower or late weekend brunch.

1 1/2 tablespoons mint-infused simple syrup
3 large strawberries, hulled and thinly sliced
5 fresh mint leaves, more for garnish
1.5 ounces (3 tablespoons) white rum
1 tablespoon fresh lime juice,

1/4 cup club soda

Mint-infused simple syrup:
1 cup water, 1 cup granulated sugar
1 cup tightly packed fresh mint leaves

In a small bowl or glass, muddle the simple syrup, strawberries, and fresh mint leaves until just fragrant. Add a handful of ice to an old-fashioned glass. Pour the strawberry mixture over the ice. Pour in the white rum and lime juice. Add the club soda. Gently stir the drink. Garnish with a sprig of mint and serve immediately.

Syrup: In a small saucepan, combine water and sugar and bring to the boil. Stir constantly until sugar dissolves. Remove from the heat and pour syrup over mint leaves. Infuse for 20 minutes. Strain and discard mint and store syrup in the refrigerator. Makes 1 drink

For each serving, pour 1 oz. (2 Tbsp.) brandy into mug. Fill 2/3 full with hot strong coffee. Top with a small scoop of chocolate ice cream.

Irish Coffee

1 cup chilled whipping cream
1/4 cup confectioners' sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
3 cups strong coffee
4 oz. or (1/2 cup) Irish Whiskey or Brandy
4-8 tsp. sugar

In chilled bowl, beat cream, confectioners and vanilla until stiff; refrigerate. Prepare coffee, heat mugs by rinsing with boiling water; drain. Mix 1 oz. or (2 Tbsp.) whiskey and 1-2 tsp. sugar in each mug; add hot coffee. Top with the whipped cream. Serves 4 ( 3/4 cup each).

Mango Margarita

Ingredients
3 tablespoons kosher salt
2 cups ice
1 lime, juiced
1 orange, juiced
2 cups mango nectar
Tequila (optional)
Lime wedges, for garnish
Directions
Spread the salt out onto a small dish. Dip the rims of 4 margarita glasses in water and then dip them into the salt.

Into a blender, add the ice, lime juice, orange juice, mango nectar, and 4 shots of tequila, if desired. Blend until smooth. Pour into the prepared glasses and garnish with a lime wedge.

1/4 cup mango nectar
Directions
1.In a blender, combine the tequila, triple sec, lime juice, mango, and ice. Blend until ice is finely crushed. Sweeten with mango nectar to your liking.
